Four fully accredited advanced training in adult cardiology posts are offered with MonashHeart, Monash Health. There are one or two advanced training positions each year, with two consecutive years spent at MonashHeart. There are also two six-month advanced training rotations for trainees entering their third year of training. At any time, there are four advanced trainees working in the unit, in addition to rotating general medicine basic trainees.

Applications are coordinated centrally each year via the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).

MonashHeart does not accept applications directly, however does hold an open evening in early August each year whereby interested applicants are invited to attend onsite to learn more about what we can offer in our clinically busy, diverse and research education orientated training program.

All interested applicants are to apply online via RACP with applications opening late July each year.
