Dr Wally Ahmar specialises in interventional and general cardiology. He undertook advanced cardiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. His interventional training was conducted at MonashHeart Monash Health with particular emphasis on acute and chronic percutaneous coronary intervention procedures and intravascular ultrasound. Dr Bon Chou – MBBS, FRACP, Cardiologist

Dr Bon Chou has extensive experience in the assessment of cardiac function with echocardiography. He has a particular interest in stress echocardiography for the assessment of patients at increased cardiovascular risk as well as those with chest pain syndromes or exertional dyspnoea where a cardiac cause may be suspected. Dr Benjamin Dundon undertook his undergraduate degree at the University of Adelaide, followed by basic physician’s training and advanced cardiology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Dr John Gelman is a senior visiting cardiologist at Monash Medical Centre and former director of echocardiology (1989-2007). He is a consultant cardiologist at Cabrini Hospital, Melbourne and directs a private multi-site echo service in Gippsland. John graduated from Monash University, trained at Prince Henry’s and The Alfred hospitals (including the Clinical Research Unit, Baker Institute) and completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida, USA.
