Thumper purchased with M2M funds

Subsequent to the highly successful fundraising Murray to Moyne bike ride in April, the first ever “lucas thumper” device has been purchased for use in Australia, specifically for critically ill heart attack patients in the cardiac catheterisation laboratory when suffering a cardiac arrest. It is anticipated that the thumper, which provides automated chest compressions during CPR, will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of CPR, enabling life-saving heart attack procedures to continue uninterrupted and thereby help improve patient outcomes and chances of survival.
