World Heart Day
World heart day was a wonderful day of heart health promotion across our three sites, with posters featuring cold ‘heart facts’, free blood pressure measurements, a channel 10 news item and a visit by Heartly giving out red apples! Just a morning of blood pressure measurements in the foyer of Monash Medical Centre, Clayton revealed the startling incidence of hypertension in the community, with a number of people with concerningly high blood pressure. We look forward to making world heart day 2012 even bigger next year.
