The opportunities
We have an international reputation for excellence and achievement in basic and translational research, supporting the uptake of clinical services in state-of-the-art cardiovascular treatments. Cardiovascular research is a fast moving field of great promise, with new and innovative treatment and prevention research on the horizon.
The research team is lead by Professor James Cameron and supported by Monash Cardiovascular Research Centre manager Ms Julie Plunkett.
Education, training and research
Education of our research team is highly valued and we offer daily clinical educational sessions, along with research meetings held with key clinical service groups. We are constantly striving for new research opportunities, to recruit patients into clinical trials and to support clinicians at the coal face with data analysis to inform future innovative clinical practice research.
