Dr Arthur Nasis is a cardiologist and PhD Research Fellow at Monash Cardiovascular Research Centre, MonashHeart. He graduated from the University of Melbourne with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 2003. After completing physician training at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Arthur joined MonashHeart in 2008 where he undertook his advanced clinical cardiology training and subsequently completed a non invasive imaging fellowship, specialising in advanced echocardiography techniques and all aspects of cardiac CT interpretation.
 
Arthur has a particular interest in the role of non invasive imaging in the assessment of chest pain and is currently undertaking a PhD examining novel imaging techniques in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease and myocardial ischaemia. He has published extensively and delivered multiple presentations at national and international meetings in this area. Arthur is also the recipient of the prestigious combined National Health and Medical Research Council and National Heart Foundation Scholarship as well as the inaugural Southern Health Senior Medical Staff Academic Scholarship.
