Dr Benjamin Dundon
MBBS, PhD, FRACP
Cardiologist
Dr Benjamin Dundon undertook his undergraduate degree at the University of Adelaide, followed by basic physician's training and advanced cardiology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Since 2006, Ben has practiced as a Consultant Cardiologist. In 2009 Ben completed a three year PhD evaluating 'Alternations in Cardiovascular Structure and Function in End-Stage Renal Failure', whilst he also undertook a clinical fellowship in Cardiac MRI. Ben is currently undertaking an interventional fellowship with the MonashHeart team and a Doctor of Medicine research degree through Monash University.
Ben has been awarded a number of successful research grants including the 2010 RACP Foundation for High Blood Pressure Research Fellowship, the 2009 Pfizer Australia Cardiovascular Lipid Research Grant and the 2008 National Health and Medical Research Council / National Heart Foundation of Australia post-graduate research scholarship. Ben has published widely including manuscripts, a book chapter and over 45 abstracts.
