Associate Professor Cliff Choong provides adult thoracic surgical care. He is a member of senior medical staff at Southern Health and a faculty member of Monash University. He has previously worked as a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon and university lecturer with Cambridge University, United Kingdom.

Cliff was the recipient of the prestigious Evarts A. Graham Fellowship awarded by the American Association for Thoracic Surgery in 2002. Cliff spent fellowship time at Washington University, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in the United States.
