Originally from Singapore, Dr Han Ling is a consultant cardiologist with MonashHeart who has a special interest in the management of heart rhythm disorders.
Han obtained his medical degree from the University of Adelaide and trained as a physician and cardiologist in South Australia. He moved to Melbourne in 2009 to undertake a combined clinical and research fellowship program in the field of heart rhythm disorders.
Han's research lies at the crossroads of atrial fibrillation and heart failure, and he has presented his work at both local and international cardiology conferences. Han has been awarded a number of scholarships and awards, including the 2011 Pfizer Australia Cardiovascular Lipid Research Grant, and post-graduate scholarships from the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, the National Heart Foundation of Australia, and the Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute.
