Associate Professor Sarah Hope has undertaken specialist training in Paediatric Cardiology both in the UK and in Australia having undertaken a Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology through the Royal Children's Hospital and Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne.
She has experience in foetal echocardiography as well as the diagnosis and management of patients with congenital heart disease from foetal to adult life.
She has a particular interest in cardiac CT imaging in congenital heart disease. Her work on the assessment of vascular mechanical properties in the Monash Cardiovascular Research Centre led to the award of PhD by Monash University. She is an internationally recognised expert in this area.
Sarah is the head of MonashHeart’s Paediatric Cardiology Services, she practices as a paediatric cardiologist and CT cardiologist, and is a member of Southern Health’s senior medical staff.
