Dr Sue-Ling Liew

Cardiologist
Dr Sue-Ling Liew is a consultant cardiologist at MonashHeart. She has an interest in cardiac arrhythmias and has undertaken a subspecialty fellowship in cardiac rhythm management. She is involved in interventional procedures such as electrophysiology studies, catheter ablation and implantation and management of cardiac devices including pacemakers and cardiac defibrillators.
Having excelled throughout her academic career, her achievements include dux of her school, the Sir John McFarlane Scholarship and an Australian Students’ Prize. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne and was awarded an undergraduate scholarship. Her clinical training was completed at the Austin and Repatriation Hospital. Sue-Ling has gained experience at various hospitals in Victoria and has furthered her studies with a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and advanced training in cardiology.
Sue-Ling believes in improving the quality of patient care through education and research. Her research has been recognised with a number of presentations to CSANZ, publication in Heart Lung and Circulation and an international presentation at the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress.
